Siggie Squares

I am sure a lot of you are aware that Cynthia had organised a Siggie Swap. Certainly, some of my favourite bloggers took part.

Mine arrived over a week ago but as I have been such a bad blogger I am only talking about it now!

I am happy with the layout formed with the way I threw them down for a photo - no points to match up. I will try for a colour wash look, lights through to darks so some rearranging to do.

I also now collect quilt pins/badges, I have a very modest collection fuelled from May Britt and Tami, but I plan to add borders and setting triangles to make this a square wall hanging and use the borders to display the pins! (that is the plan anyway!)
Poor Elke's siggie squares went missing in the mail, so I emailed her and have sent her one of mine. I still have a couple left if anyone is interested. Also, if anyone wants to exchange quilt pins, drop me a line!

(PS Bad picture I know, but at the moment my camera and computer are not talking nicely to each other!)

Losing the Urge

I am a bad blogger! Bad Blogger!! I have kept up with my reading, but I haven't posted for more than a month.

I do think of it, take photos specifically for it, and then I don't do it! Just can't be bother.

Slack!

With Charlotte starting school we were very busy last term with our regular life AND all of the school activities. Then there was one weeks holiday over Easter and now we have had one week back at school and tomorrow is the start of week two!

Where does the time go?

As usual I have a large number of unfinished projects on the go. I am getting back into scrapbooking more and enjoying it.

I took part in Cynthia - Aussie Quilter's siggie swap and love all the blocks I have received. Can't wait to get that all together.

The weather here should be getting a bit cooler coming into autumn, but it is not. We are on level 5 water restrictions. If we don't get rain here soon in Australia they are telling us our food supplies will be endangered. May be time to plan a veggie patch.

Keep the posts happening everyone, I love reading them.
(The hibiscus is from our garden, pretty resilient aren't they?)
