Heart Blocks for ??????

Can't tell you who they are for...... she is not a blogger, but you never know who pops in from time to time.


I can tell you they are for the same friend that the Christmas decorations were for. I belong to a very small little internet group of ladies and we all support each other. We met through quilting but our ties are now much greater than that. I have only met two of them "in the flesh" but that hasn't changed a thing.


The recipient of all these has had a rough two years and is ready for a new beginning. One of us has organised the decorations and another is putting all the blocks together in a quilt full of goodness. The brief was bright and applique hearts on cream. Not really my thing but I am a piecer so this is what I came up with......

It is grey and wet and much, much cooler outside today, so these pics are taken in my main bathroom. Sorry but the lighting is not true and the colours are much brighter in real life. Think my favourite is the Snowball 9 patch.

Yabbying

So, what would you expect a 7 year old to wish for on her birthday?

So after school on Friday we took it out for a test drive.....

We did actually find two, but we left them there.

We had a birthday here this week.....

DD1 turned 7 on Thursday!

We have had what feels like a week of celebrations. Last one tonight. Lots and lots and LOTS of photos to sort through, but I will share some in the coming days.

Cleared Funds!!!

My two favourite words!!!! Cleared funds in our bank account so today I have done some lay-bying for DD1's birthday next week and even a little start on the Christmas Shopping.

Tomorrow I hit the post office. If you are expecting a little gifty from me then tomorrow it starts its journey, along with a little something for someone special who is not expecting it!! I love secrets (as long as I am the one in the know!!) :)

Thanks for your patience, or if you haven't been patient, thanks for not laying the guilt trip on me. DH is self employed and this year has been tough.

CHRISTMAS !!!

I know it is WAY too early, but in my attempts to be organised, I have made these decorations for a friend of mine......

I don't know how our fellow bloggers o/s do it, Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas!
