Yep I am 40 today!! I love my birthday. I always make a big deal out of it. After all if I don't who will? DH cooked bacon and egg sandwiches this morning for breakfast and took the girls to school for me.
My SIL is staying with us for a few days and that haul photographed above is from her!! All for me!! She brought them back from Japan for me. She thinks I should sell them on ebay. I think I am greedy enough to keep them :)
Thank you to the Chookster for the birthday announcement, and thank you to all who have sent me good wishes. I am off to shower and then sew!!

Happy Birthday, a day late!! The fabrics are lovely and you are very lucky to have such a nice SIL! I wouldn't sell them on E-bay or anywhere else. My advice is keep them all for yourself!! :-) I remember turning 40 and it was great. Really got back to quilting about that time and made loads of good friends over the years. Life is still good it's just that the next turn around the block will be 60 next summer. How can that be?!?!
