Posting the 7th on the 7th!! Go me!!

Domestics today, not so interesting. Isn't it funny when you see your kids do things the same as you. I get more work done in my jammies in the morning, than I do if I shower and dress upon rising. So first job on their agenda was to "finish decorating that tree!" We have had the tree up since the 1st and except for a few baubles it was decoration-less.

Then it was washing time. the girls (accidentally) upended a jug of ice cold water just after breakfast, and then used nearly all our clean tea towels to mop it up. It was only water, and tea towels don't take long to wash and dry, the worst part was refilling the jug and waiting for it to cool down! It is humid here again, look at the state of our poor lawn.

And how stylish is Miss 5! Princess nightie and pink sequined Santa hat. No point being just a worker and looking like just a worker (as my mum always said!)

So except for two in the background that I have never returned to mum, all my tea towels are black and white. Just one of my quirks :), but I have brand new tea towels in the cupboard that just don't make the colour grade. So I have a plan for them, but probably not till after Christmas. Will share when they are done.
